Merry Christmas, Pastor Wade. And I did notice the "floating cross" next to your ear which I "know" was intentional. Blessings.

Wade & Rachelle,

In fact, knowing you has helped me realize who I am. I thank you for that.

I realized this Christmas that the friends God's given me have been the finest gift I could ask for (after salvation), and in fact I posted about this on my blog this week.

May yours be the most blessed Christmas ever, for your family.

Hey!

That's snow outside your window! You must've taken that picture THIS weekend, eh?

We are having church even though it is slick here in Norman. Pastor and I talked about it and if we don't have 100 or so folks in Sunday School, we'll sing every Christmas carol in the hymnal and then make some up, light the candle for the 4th Sunday of Advent, and pray for ourselves, each other and the community. And we will put off the Christmas Music, again, until January.

Come to think of it, what better way to begin the new year, celebrating Christ's Advent.

Y'all have a fine Sunday and a great celebration of our Lord's birth.

Merry Christmas to the Burleson's. Thank you Wade for your ministry and the ministry of Emmanuel Baptist Church. May God bless you for you have been a channel of blessing to many.

May the New Year be filled with an ever deepening reality of the sufficiency of Christ for our every need and may He bring about a more peaceful, cooperative, and transparent SBC and her entities with a renewed focus and anointing in spreading the gospel. May the littleness of trusting in Fundamentalism be replaced with a bigness of a confidence in the ability of the Holy Spirit and the reality that “the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.”

Wade,
I know which one is Logan, but if you’d switched Charis to the start of the back row, I’d know which are Kade and Boe.

But then again, if Kade was pronounced Ka-de, there still might be confusion. Or is it a simple right-to-left rule?

I’m just trying to follow up on David Mc’s accusation of you being controversial. Ha

In your last post you referenced some links that led to a man saying, “He reached for a towel instead of rising to a throne.”

I’m afraid too many pastors desire the other way around.

Merry Christmas, and thanks so much for making me think.
