Vaccines Used in Africa to Sterilize African Women

Tanya Axisa, DIP, Wikimedia Commons
I'll keep this blog as short as possible. Don't accept my word for anything. Do research for yourself.

PREMISE: In 2008 and 2009, some unsuspecting African women began receiving vaccines from the World Health Organization which contained the contraceptive sterilant Depo-Provera, rendering these vaccinated African women infertile.

The women thought they were getting vaccines to fight common diseases. In reality, they were unwilling clinical subjects for a World Health Organization project, funded by Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, to experiment with the birth control drug Depo-Provera before rolling it out through a broad population control campaign on the African continent.

WHO and The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation called the population control effort, Family Planning 2020, or FP2020.

WHO named it FP 2020 in the year 2010.

The stated goal of the organizers of Family Planning 2020 was to reduce the world's population, particularly in areas of the world where cultural challenges existed, by the year 2020.

Uganda, an African country with one of the highest fertility rates in the world, was one of the first to sign on to FP 2020. From Nigeria to Kenya, countries across sub-Saharan Africa began signing up for the population control effort led by WHO and Bill and Melinda Gates.

In 2011, a U.S. women's rights group called the Rebecca Project for Human Rights published a report, "Non-Consensual Research in Africa: The Outsourcing of Tuskegee," outlining the unethical medical experiments undertaken by U.S. researchers in Africa.

The Rebecca Project compiled stories written by the press and well-respected non-profits. These reports claimed:
1. HIV-positive women in Namibia and South Africa had been coerced into sterilization by local health-care entities that received funding from USAID.
2. African women who enrolled in a drug trial in Uganda designed to prevent mother-to-child transmission of HIV had received placebos,.
3. African women coming for vaccinations against specific diseases were unwittingly used as test subjects for Depo-Provera.
Very soon, the motives, backgrounds, and agendas of the leaders of the Rebecca Project were called into question by those in charge of health policy in Africa.

All who have spoken out against WHO and Bill Gates for its contraceptive vaccines in Africa are typically called untrustworthy, or former employees with an agenda, or far-right political activists, etc. For example, read The New War on Birth Control and pay close attention to how those who exposed the secretive contraceptive vaccination rollout in Africa are portrayed.

Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.,, is a vocal opponent to worldwide vaccination programs. He believes that powerful elites are experimenting on unsuspecting people without consent, or even worse, killing more people through the vaccine than the disease. He recently posted on Instagram his opposition (a post since removed by Instagram censors for "false information."). RFK, Jr., nephew of our former President John F. Kennedy, is a recipient of repeated public character assassinations.

I'm uninterested in assassinating the character of anyone, on either side. I just want to know the truth.

Reverend Clenard Childress, the founder of the website BlackGenocide.org, told reporter Kathryn Joyce, "In the African-American community, if you shout conspiracy, they'll listen, because of the history they've had." True, Rev. Childress. But, if there is a stated desire from powerful elitists in the west to control the population of poor Africans in the east, it can't be a conspiracy that's true. Conspiracy means "to breath with others," that is "to think like others." To have a conspiracy you must have some who think alike and others who think differently, but "the some" impose their ideas on all the others.

Interestingly, nobody denies that population control among poor countries is an agenda of WHO, the Bill Gates Foundation Board, world health leaders, Bill and Melinda Gates, China, and others driving governmental decisions. Everyone is outright saying that population control is the goal.

But the view of the world by those at the top is different than those at the bottom. Ask any woman who wants children if she likes being injected with a contraceptive against her will. If you believe that your desire for the world is nobler than that poor African woman's desire for children, then you can violate her individual liberty for a greater good.

My problem is that cultural elitists are doing hidden and unknown things with the intent of accomplishing their stated goals, believing they know better what is needed. The problem of a few at the top forcing conformity to a worldview on everyone is a much more concerning problem than most people realize. I'll state the problem in the form of a question.
WHO (pardon the pun) gets to determine the greater good for our world?
Libertarianism says the individual should be in control of his life. Liberalism says the government should be in control of all our lives. Capitalism says the economy should be in control of humanity.

Count me a libertarian. Liberty is an inalienable right to every human being, living on any continent, alive at any time in the history of our world.

When those in control of the government, the educational systems, the economy, and the finances (banking system) do what they believe is best, then other good people with a different world view (but not in power or control) start having things done to them against their knowledge. I'm not going to motive of "those in control"  I'll even say "those" are good people with good motives (at least in their minds). Those in control trample on the individual liberties of commoners.

Soon, the process of control grows to the point where the powerful elite begin ordering governments to take action for the people, without the peoples' consent (think "2020 Lockdown"). Those in control are the Knowns, and they believe we are the Unknowns, for we can never know what they know.

They think like this: "We might as well do what needs to be done, using any and all means to accomplish our goal, since we KNOW what this world needs and the UNKNOWNS don/t."

There is a worldwide cultural battle taking place between the Knowns and the Unkowns. Hart Seely wrote a poem about this (edited by Daase and Kessler).
As we know,
There are known knowns.
There are things we know we know.
We also know
There are known unknowns.
That is to say
We know there are some things
We do not know.
But there are also unknown unknowns,
The ones we don’t know
We do not know.
Finally, there are unknown knowns
The knowns
We do not want to know.
We should all live by the principle, "Tell the truth and trust the people." Censorship is the symptom of the disease of the Knowns. The disease is a belief that "I know better than you, and I'll encroach on your liberty, your life, and your property for the good of the world."

If cultural western elites believe they know better than the poor Africans, and if they do unethical things to Africans without their concert, what makes you think it can't happen to us Americans who are the Unknowns.

Americans are rightfully concerned over the death of an African-American male from Georgia who had his civil rights violated and his life taken without due process. But if our concerns over one man are greater than our concerns for a continent of African women forced into sterilization against their wills, we don't understand the real issues that Americans face in 2020. Don't get distracted."

Think big picture.

I am not an anti-vaxxer. I received my flu shot this year. I'm not a "far-right political Republican." My conservative political friends think I'm a "liberal" because I believe in equal rights of women, civil rights for gays and lesbians, and freedom for all Americans to pursue life as they please without government intrusion. I'm not a conspiracist. I think those at the top have stated their intentions.

We must cherish liberty; individual liberty.

Again, liberty is the inalienable human right of every individual, on all continents, at any and all times throughout the history of our world, regardless of race, culture, or creed.

If we don't wake up now, come 2030 every American will start feeling like that African woman who got injected with a sterility shot thinking that it was something else.

If it happened to her, it can happen to us.

I am beginning to Know what used to be Unknown to me.

So glad you have the humility to delve into this issue, Wade, and using your platform to spread the word!

This is another video that will probably get pulled like Plandemic, but it needs to be heard by all. Google and Wikipedia are complicit in censoring and distorting the truth of highly qualified doctors who have years of study and research that flatly contradict the narrative of those in world-wide authority positions making policy for people. Like Mikovits, Dr. Young's research has been railroaded, his multiple medical licenses revoked, and then he was falsely imprisoned. A good man indeed!

""In the sciences people quickly come to regard as their own personal property that which they had learned and had passed on to them at the universities and academies. If however, someone comes along with new ideas that contradict the Credo (that has been recited for years, and in turn, passed on to others) and in fact even threatened to overturn it, then all passions are raised against this threat and no method is left untried to suppress it. People resist it in every way possible: pretending not to have heard about it, speaking disparagingly of it, as if it were not even worth the effort of looking into the matter. And so a new truth can have a long wait before finally being accepted." Goethe

Wade, you are deluded if you think a lefist like Robert F Kennedy, Jr. is anything but pro-liberty. The only difference between him and the "evil" pharma corporation is what special interest groups they support.

I imagine Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. is A-OK with the black genocide through abortion and Planned Parenthood and is perfectly OK with Bill Gates giving foundation money for PP. The big reason RFK Jr hates Bill Gates is the same reason all the leftist elite do, they hate capitalism and hate success.

Don't kid yourself and buy into this BS.

CM said...

I find it hypocritical that someone like Robert Kennedy, Jr and his ant-vaxxer allies to rail against what happened in Africa regarding vaccination and the Deprovera as a "black genocide" but are perfectly OK with the black genocide of abortion. Apparently, preventing an egg being released is bad, but it is perfectly OK to abort a fertilized one already implanted.

CM,

It is unwise to wait till you approve of everything a person believes or does before you accept a principle of liberty which is inalienable.

If what you got out of this article is a defense of RFK, Jr., I'm not sure you read it very thoroughly.

It's a defense of liberty.

May I ask you one simple question?

Do you believe it is ethical or moral to inject a contraceptive into the arm of an unknowing African woman?

Yes? Or No?

That's the point of my post.

CM said...

In terms of the lockdowns, I highly suggest you read up on the various case law (SCOTUS and otherwise) and precedents going back to the colonial days and get a clue. From the time we were colonies and from the Founders, local governments have had the power and latitude to impose restrictions for quarantine and public health.

Read up on what Marshall said about local governments in Gibbons vs. Ogden (1824) and Compagnie Francaise de Navigation a Vapeur v. Louisiana Board of Health (1902) regarding the power and Constitutionally of local governments and quarantine.

Wade Burleson said...

CM,

I will. Thank you.

Wade Burleson said...

Ken, I'll be taking a look at your video as well.

CM said...

No it is not ethical nor moral to inject a contraceptive into an unknowing African woman. Of course, if they are informed of it is and what the injection will do (and they consent) then that is fine.

CM said...

One more SCOTUS Case:

Jacobson v. Massachusetts, 197 U.S. 11 (1905) - This also upheld authority of states to enforce compulsory vaccination laws.

But under the Constitution, individuals have rights in quarantine and isolation conditions. Under the 5th and 14th Amendment’s rights of Due Process and Equal Protection, public health regulations used to impose such conditions can’t be “arbitrary, oppressive and unreasonable.”

Now quarantines can be challenged in courts (have been in the past), especially if say they for example order churches to remain closed, but allow movie theaters (or synagogues or mosques) to remain open. However, one would have to file a challenge in court, but in meantime, you better be prepared to take your lumps (jail or fines).

Ethical concerns:

to experiment on unsuspecting innocent people is a crime against humanity and there is history of this in Nazi Germany when children were used for experimentation in the camps by Nazi doctors, and their suffering was terrible

Another extremely cruel example is the documented stories of the experiments done on severely disabled or retarded children at Willowbrook Institution:
" hepatitis developed in 90 percent of children admitted to Willowbrook soon after their arrival. Although it was known that hepatitis was caused by a virus, it wasn't known how hepatitis virus spread, whether it could be prevented, or how many types of viruses caused the disease. Krugman used the children of Willowbrook to answer those questions. One of his studies involved feeding live hepatitis virus to sixty healthy children. Krugman watched as their skin and eyes turned yellow and their livers got bigger. He watched them vomit and refuse to eat. All the children fed hepatitis virus became ill, some severely."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Willowbrook_State_School#Hepatitis_studies

Another terrible example of victimizing innocent people by experimenting on them without their knowledge involved the Tuskegee Syphilis Study.
Tragically, the study continued, under numerous Public Health Service supervisors, until 1972, when a leak to the press resulted in its termination on November 16 of that year.[7] The victims of the study, all African American, included numerous men who died of syphilis, 40 wives who contracted the disease and 19 children born with congenital syphilis.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tuskegee_syphilis_experiment

in short, there is no end to man's inhumanity to man, as now there are also 'camps' set up for 'tender age' asylum children where soap and dental care products and diapers were not provided and the government was taken to court over the inhumanity of it:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FzZwca4rEWc

Ethics concerns seem to fall on deaf ears when politics and big money are involved.

Another ethical problem is to be involved in the 'lashon ha ra', the 'evil speech' which spreads gossip and rumors and sows seeds of mis-information that take root among people who are 'fragile' and 'open to being manipulated'. What happens next is that the perpetrators of the mis-information sit back and the gullible people who bought into the mis-information take to violence against the perceived bad actors . . . this usually involves the manipulation game known as 'let's you and him go fight'

soooo, it is very possible that Bill and Melinda Gates are being heavily targeted by certain actors and may be the objects of maltreatment, which I suspect is true because they oppose certain 'powers that be' in the extreme right wing sectors of our divided nation.

I think it possible to explore conspiracy theories and to even find some amusement in doing so, but the atmosphere of our current times does call us to be more responsible for what we do and what we say, and also for what we don't do and when we fail to stand up for those who are being persecuted, especially because it aligns with some political interests who are far from responsible actors on any humane front. My opinion only.

Christiane said...

the power of speech:

the universe was called into being by the power of speech, but speech can also be an instrument of destruction

an example (hyperbole, but still, it conveys some truths to be remembered):
" A Chasidic tale vividly illustrates the danger of improper speech: A man went about the community telling malicious lies about the rabbi. Later, he realized the wrong he had done, and began to feel remorse. He went to the rabbi and begged his forgiveness, saying he would do anything he could to make amends. The rabbi told the man, "Take a feather pillow, cut it open, and scatter the feathers to the winds." The man thought this was a strange request, but it was a simple enough task, and he did it gladly. When he returned to tell the rabbi that he had done it, the rabbi said, "Now, go and gather the feathers. Because you can no more make amends for the damage your words have done than you can recollect the feathers."

Speech has been compared to an arrow: once the words are released, like an arrow, they cannot be recalled, the harm they do cannot be stopped, and the harm they do cannot always be predicted, for words like arrows often go astray."
http://www.jewfaq.org/speech.htm#Power

in short, I would caution us all to research before we relay what we hear from certain sources, as, if we are being manipulated by those sources, we then become unwitting agents in their bad acting. Again, my opinion only. (Caveat: Better to check out sources on ALL sides of issues and political ideologies to get a fix on the width and breadth of those issues more fully, which enables us to be 'discerning' in responsible ways. I have failed to do this myself often, and have personally regretted my failure much.)

Christiane,

Well said. The examples of the lack of medical ethics in those cases is why laws governing and mandating Institutional Review Boards (IRB) were created. Look up the Belmont Report (published in 1978):

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belmont_Report

The Belmont Report summarizes ethical principles and guidelines for research involving human subjects. Three core principles are identified: respect for persons, beneficence, and justice. Three primary areas of application are also stated. They are informed consent, assessment of risks and benefits, and selection of subjects.

By the way, this is where the informed consent laws first came from.

Celeste said...

I know that there has been horrible human rights violations and the name of medical science over the years. As noted previously, this has led to multiple safeguards for participants in clinical trials. The Nuremberg code (1947 post atrocities inflicted by the Germans on a captive population ) introduced respect for the individual. The Declaration of Helsinki which was adopted by the World Medical Association in 1964 included a statement of ethical principles with protection of test subject's rights and test subject's health. It also provided for special protection of vulnerable populations. The Belmont report was developed in 1979. It included "respect for persons" with informed consent, protection of vulnerable populations. It also required beneficence and justice. Now, practices participating in clinical research following an international Good Clinical Practice guidelines. This is "guidance" but in the US it is essentially law because its tenants are included in multiple regulations that have to be followed in clinical trials. For the person who asked about the cost of drugs in the US compared to other countries, this is part of the process that makes developing drug so incredibly expensive.

Unfortunately this is all US based. When pharmaceutical companies choose to conduct clinical trials outside the US, they potentially avoid some of the regulatory constraints that they would have within the US.

Wade encouraged us to do our own research and so I plowed into this topic. I found the original brief : "Nonconsensual Research in Africa: The Outsourcing of Tuskegee" . This policy brief appears to be very well researched with multiple references. However, when I attempted to follow the references I started hitting roadblocks. In trying to follow the story about women in Ghana being injected with depot Provera when they thought they were receiving vaccines, there is reference to J. F. Phillips and the Bulletin of the World Health Organization (2006) . Basically the profile of Dr. Phillips on the Columbia page and the World Health Organization bulletin both document studies in Ghana where education either by volunteers versus nurses with "increased access to birth control" resulted in a marked decrease in child mortality as well as a slight (15%) decrease in fertility. There is no mention of women receiving vaccines and receiving concurrent Depo hormones at the same time. I am left with where is the smoking gun?

In trying to find a additional information on the Rebecca Project page, they link to Rebecca project.org (try that address at your own risk....I hope it is not a problem, but....). That is a blog about someone promoting gambling by women in the UK. Oddly enough, on the Rebecca Project webiste there is a blog article entitled "group accuses Gates foundation, USAID of hiding injectable contraceptive dangers". When you click the "read more" , one is directed to an article at the National Catholic Register . I think that this article, published in 2013, likely gives a fair representation of the issue. This article does not link vaccines with inadvertently receiving Depo-Provera shots. Instead, it suggests that groups pushing contraception are not appropriately and forming many women, many of whom do belong to vulnerable populations, of the potential risk of those injections.

Celeste said...

In sum:
1. I think the title of this blog article a little "click baity". Vaccines do not sterilize women (at least not known to do so at this time). The allegation is that a hormone was placed in a vaccine to provide contraception for African women (which I agree is ethically and morally rehensible).
2. Depo-Provera is a hormone based contraceptive agent. It must be redosed every 3 months, so it is inappropriate to suggest that, if it was given without knowledge, that sterilization occurred. Women lost fertility for 3 to 4 months unless it was redosed every 3 to 4 months.
3. I agree: if women were given contraception against their consent, that is horrible and in excuse of all.
4. I agree: ALWAYS look at the big picture. ALWAYS follow the money. (That is what I think when I look at many different issues and try to understand motive).
5. Unrelated: I am very concerned about the status of our science. In this pandemic there is a sense of panic that he has been generated and with that a lot of possible liver disease have been violated. I thought that the exchange between Dr. Fauci and Senator Rand was very telling yesterday. One always needs to keep in mind that epidemiologist and physicians are not considering the overall impact from other forces which include economics. The economic toll and the unintended health consequences of the lockdown are yet to be realized. I anticipate that they will be far more devastating than the lives loss to COVID-19. With the panic that is being generated by the unknown of COVID-19, a lot of normal regulatory and pure review processes are being thrown to the wayside. We need to watch that very carefully. (Most testing for COVID 19 has been approved through EUA (Emergency Utilizaiton Act)). Although necessary, tests have not been appropriately vetted, and so there is not real knowledge of their true specificity/sensitivity. Therefore, plus or minus conspiracy theories, all of the data on COVID is kind of messed up from the beginning and therefore is subject to manipulation.

Good work Celeste.

I learned a couple of things I did not know from your comments.

Thank you.

Celeste,

To piggyback off this, I fully expect that the anti-vaxxers and conspiracy people to use any bad health effects, deaths, etc of any COVID-19 vaccine as a means to go after vaccines and provide ammo in their propaganda. Never mind they will conveniently ignore the fact that expedited testing/trials/production to get something out NOW is a factor (and whose idea was that) Of course, the experts said from the beginning that expedited testing could cause this, but "damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead."

The funny thing is what did all these anti-vaxxer, open-up now Trumpers do? Clamor and push for hydroxychloroquine as a silver bullet for COVID-19. Nevermind there were no randomized control trials on it, that it can cause all kinds of health problems, and serious side effects. Why? Because the prime reason is to get the economy running and the stock market up enough to ensure Trump is re-elected, no matter how much the bodies pile up.

This is proven by how quickly hydroxychloroquine was dropped as a news item and no longer discussed once it was shown that it did not work.

Celeste said...

Ahhh...interventions for COVID 19. This is where the poem of the knowns and unknowns pretty much sums it up. I'm just going to turn this into a science blog.

The Chinese posted a small (60 patient) study that was randomized for plaquenil (the brand name for hydroxychloroquine, but so much easier to type) versus nothing in patients with mild infection. The intervention showed improvement in the treated group. There was a high dose arm that had to be halted early because of excess deaths, so small size, lack of true control arm made that uninterpretable. There was an article from NYC published in the New England Journal this week, "Observational Study of Hydroxychloroquine in Hospitalized Patients with Covid-19". This study looked at the outcome of patients with COVID19. Over 1400 people were included in the study, but in the description, the authors acknowledge that the patients receiving plaquenil were significantly sicker than patients that did not receive plaquenil (but all of the patients potentially received other interventions. Not a randomized study so docs were probably giving plaquenil to those that they thought were on the downward slide). In the conclusion, they state, "In the main analysis, a multivariable regression model with inverse probability weighting according to the propensity score, there was no significant association between hydroxychloroquine use and the risk of intubation or death. ". Interpretation, when plaquenil was used in a sicker population and we did a bunch of data manipulation, there appeared to be no harm. So whether plaquenil is beneficial or not is unclear.

Now, we are told the anti-viral drug remdesivir is the new "breakthrough." The study out of China was published in The Lancet online 4/29/2020. It was a placebo controlled study with 158 patients receiving drug and 79 receiving placebo (investigative to control arm randomized 2;1). Time to improvement was 30% shorter in the treatment arm but the improvement did not reach statistical significance given the size of the study. The conclusion in the study, "Our study is the first randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial assessing the effect of intravenous remdesivir in adults admitted to hospital with severe COVID-19. The study was terminated before attaining the prespecified sample size. In the intention-to-treat population, the primary endpoint of time to clinical improvement was not significantly different between groups, but was numerically shorter in the remdesivir group than the control group, particularly in those treated within 10 days of symptom onset. The duration of invasive mechanical ventilation, although also not significantly different between groups, was numerically shorter in remdesivir recipients than placebo recipients.
Implications of all the available evidence
No statistically significant benefits were observed for remdesivir treatment beyond those of standard of care treatment. Our trial did not attain the predetermined sample size because the outbreak of COVID-19 was brought under control in China. Future studies of remdesivir, including earlier treatment in patients with COVID-19 and higher-dose regimens or in combination with other antivirals or SARS-CoV-2 neutralising antibodies in those with severe COVID-19 are needed to better understand its potential effectiveness." (emphasis added). So, in a study that is too small and failed to reach statistical significance (meaning, the difference seen might have been a random event), we now have the new breakthrough?
The media routinely publishes ideas/data as certainty when there is none. At this point, given the panic-demic, good studies/science seem to be lost. Just my view from the farm.....

Wade,

Great Post!

It’s not the first time the World Health Organization (WHO) has fumbled the football.

https://www.heritage.org/global-politics/commentary/the-world-health-organization-bows-china

“COVID-19 was first detected in Wuhan in early December. Chinese authorities reacted by suppressing details of the disease and punishing doctors who tried to alert the public and the world. China did not inform WHO about the virus until Dec. 31, weeks after it had detected the disease. Even after informing WHO, Beijing continued to suppress information about human-to-human transmission of the disease.

The lack of transparency by Beijing directly enabled COVID-19 to spread. The mayor of Wuhan admitted that as many as 5 million Chinese had left the city before imposition of a lockdown, allowing infected individuals to travel abroad well into January. On Jan. 14, the WHO declared, “Preliminary investigations conducted by the Chinese authorities have found no clear evidence of human-to-human transmission.” A week later, on Jan. 22, the WHO reversed its position and confirmed that there was “evidence of human-to-human transmission.”
Despite this evidence, however, WHO strongly opposed travel restrictions and, on Jan. 23, tweeted: “For the moment, WHO does not recommend any broader restrictions on travel or trade. In February, after the U.S. imposed travel restrictions on China, WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus publicly chastised countries for adopting the policy.”
Wade,
Off topic is this:
https://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/485523-judge-orders-hillary-clinton-deposition-in-judicial-watch

“A federal judge on Monday ordered former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to give a deposition under oath over a years-old lawsuit filed by the conservative group Judicial Watch regarding her role in the response to the 2012 attack on the U.S. compound in Benghazi, Libya.
U.S. District Court Royce Lamberth, a Reagan appointee, said in court filings that written answers provided by Clinton to questions from Judicial Watch were "incomplete, unhelpful, or cursory, at best."
"As extensive as the existing record is, it does not sufficiently explain Secretary Clinton’s state of mind when she decided it would be an acceptable practice to set up and use a private server to conduct State Department business," Lamberth wrote in his order. "Simply put, her responses left many more questions than answers."
"Even years after the FBI investigation, the slow trickle of new emails has yet to be explained," the judge added, referring to the rate at which emails from Clinton's private email server have since been released.
The order is the first requiring Clinton to testify under oath in person on the subject of the 2012 attack on the U.S. compound in Benghazi and the Obama administration's response at the time, when Clinton was head of the State Department.
Conservatives have long been critical of Clinton's role in the administration's response to the attack, which resulted in the death of several Americans including the U.S. ambassador to Libya, Christopher Stevens.”

follow the money to find out who's behind the push FOR hydroxychloroquine, as it was being heavily pressed forward by a united political front

might be best to determine who is trusted as scientifically-sound and who is shelling out bad science for political ends

if people are truly 'conservative', they won't be taken for fools by those who are putting out bad science, so BE CONSERVATIVE: stay with what you know is professionally respected by physicians and major universities

it's okay to 'dis-agree' and to have our own points of view, but putting out the wrong 'advice' about what meds prevent viruses is a very low point for any agenda as it means that there will be victims who 'trusted' and followed that bad advice and perished as a result

Tribalism that puts people in danger is going too far.

Christiane and Celeste,

A couple of things:

1) We need a much larger randomized control trial for remdesivir as Chinese study is too small of a sample side. Are there any currently going on and when will have an idea on the results?

2) As for hydroxychloroquine, aren't there additional randomized control trial results coming out shortly? Hopefully to determine if there is a statistically significant benefit?

By way of disclosure my background is in engineering, including Statistical Design of Experiment (DOE), ANOVA, and Statistical Process Control & Acceptance Sampling, so while I am not familiar with the specific implementation of control trials for drug testing, the math and stats background I do have.

Celeste said...

Yes, there are on-going trials of all the mentioned drug therapies. There is an opinion piece in the journal Nature today that calls out that there are too many small, uncontrolled clinical trials that are muddying the waters of what is and isn't proven benefit.
The problems are multi-fold. We live in a society that has seen medicine on TV and expects a Dr. House immediate answer to all of medicines complexities, and that just isn't reality. We also have the media pushing out their version of the truth, when the reality is that we don't even really know what we don't know. The Nature editorial mentions a large collaborative trial that was going to be studying pneumonia and is now being revamped to study therapies for COVID-19. Hopefully, with more sites participating across multiple countries with the appropriate trial design, we may be able to get better answers. Those answers will take time to be generated. The urgency created by the pandemic has resulted in a lot of fast-tracking which can be helpful, but one needs to always keep in mind the limitations of the studies. Remdisivir may prove to be the best thing we have for this disease, but it also will not surprise me if it falls into the non-useful pile as well.
Today, I saw a news clip about someone who is developing an RNA based vaccine -- "we have no reason to think that this won't work." Really???? First, RNA based vaccines are a new platform that have never been used previously (all of our current vaccines are either protein based or inactived/attenuated viruses). We know that previous attempts to develop a vaccine to SARS CoV (1) and MERS resulted in antibody dependent enhancement or hypersensitivity reactions in animal models. I hope that vaccine development has no complications, but we need to be prepared and looking for complications because vaccines are given to healthy people. To give healthy people a vaccine and induce disease -- that would be as rotten as giving contraception to women without consent (bringing this discussion back around to the original article). The fact that this is a new platform (injecting viral RNA rather than protein or attenuated virus) should generate an additional level of scrutiny. New platforms for immunization potentially have new avenues for complication.

I do not know who benefits from chloroquine or hydroxychloroquine as potential treatments for this virus. I do know that in this time of the internet, when information is propagated rapidly, without a filter and frequently in quick sound bites, it is easy to get caught up in the excitement and hope. Do you remember the report a couple of years ago that a dog wormer cured a man's cancer? That information was picked up by a news station and rapidly spread. There is always a conspiracy theory going that the cure for cancer is out there, it's just the government doesn't want us to have it (if you look at the cost of cancer care these days, that seems like a *real* fallacy, but......). Because it is dog wormer, people were able to get it without prescription. The Swedish tried to run a trial, but closed it after 11 patients seeing absolutely no benefit in those 11 patients and with concerns regarding toxicity since it is a drug that has been never been tested or approved for human use. The Swedish failure did not make the internet rounds and people are still using dog wormer despite the likelihood of harm.

Celeste,

The dog worm medication for cancer is right up there with the coffee enemas and the like.

Antiparasitic medications can be quite toxic and have all kinds of side effects.

ANYBODY,

Ambassador to Libya, Christopher Stevens, complained several times to Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton that he felt unsafe and wanted protection. She ran an ad in the local paper there for bodyguards without any background checks. One bodyguard was the brother of a known theorists. A report was made that Stevens died from smoke, but he was drug through streets before he was killed. Some ‘volunteer heroes’ were also killed. Because the attack was hours long there was plenty of time for help to arrive but Hillary and Obama couldn’t decide what to do.

When questioned about details, she will be known for her response: “What difference does it make; they’re all dead.”

Maybe only ‘Judgement Day’ will answer the link below.
https://lasvegas.cbslocal.com/2016/08/10/the-list-of-clinton-associates-whove-died-mysteriously-check-it-out/

This is a list of 46 people that died who were ‘connected’ to Bill and Hilary Clinton. Twelve of them were their bodyguards.

Rex Ray,

Not sure what your comments about Benghazi have to with viruses and vaccinations. Second, I wonder if you are nearly as diligent about all myriad of failures Trump and his team did from Dec 2019 to March 2020 regarding the coronavirus response.

I am all for blaming and going after China/WHO for their coronavirus actions, as well as Trump's. I wonder if you feel the same (or like Trump will you pass the buck on his failures)?

Rex Ray said...

CM,

You must be a Democrat the way you blame Trump for everything. Are you one of those that criticized him for stopping travel from China?

One thing Trump had going for him was replacing (in my book) the worst President America has ever had. I mean, “draining the swamp”, lowering taxes, etc. was a win-win that lifted America up: unemployment dropped, less food-stamps, Stock Market went up, etc.

I got off topic to tell the Judicial-Watch was trying to convict Hillary. They sent a letter to me asking for money. I gave them some; hope it wasn’t a scam.

Your background in engineering, etc. stops me from bragging about designing the Tool for Space Shuttle Nose Cone. :)

On Wade’s post 5-7-20, One Salient Oversight advised me on May 12, 7:11 PM to ask my doctor for a dementia check.

Maybe I should have told him when entering a battle of wits, don’t come half prepared.

CM said...

For starters, no I didn't blame Trump for everything and not a Democrat. But go ahead and assume and make a you know what out of yourself.

The problem with Trump's travel ban from China and (everywhere else) was that they were done half-a*sed and way too late. The one for China was as good as a screen door on submarine. There were many exceptions to the ban and only Chinese nationals were banned from travel. Instead we brought home everybody else, bunched them into crowded terminals and airports and US customs. The travel ban from Europe was an even bigger joke as the horse had already left the barn.

The US had a good 3-4 weeks in early January (and late Dec) where they knew that the outbreak was far worse and more serious that what was the party line coming out of China and the WHO. What did Trump do other than tweet and say several times that Xi of China was doing a great job and sucking up to him? That's right desperately trying to get his Phase 1 deal.

Now before you say we didn't know, you are wrong. Taiwan knew on Dec 31st. German intelligence knew, the various non-Chinese newspapers in Asia, South Korea, Singapore, Japan and others. This means the U.S. knew (unless of course the Orange Dear Leader could not be bothered to read his daily intel briefs).

Second, China low-balled and minimized things back in the SARS things, so what China did was not unexpected. In fact, Trump and his flunkies should have figured that the Chinese info was an order of magnitude worse than they were saying. This should have been a swift kick in the rear to move things FASTER, but the opposite occurred. The first order for PPE was not made until mid-March even though HHS was pushing it back in mid-January.

Even after the travel ban, Trump continued to minimize the virus and its seriousness for a good 6 weeks. Then he had Oval Office address where the markets cratered the next day. He finally got a clue on how bad this was on the Friday after the Oval Office address. Only the did he have his come-to-Jesus moment. That press conference and the plans announced should have been done 6 weeks earlier.

The historical records and timelines clearly show that (and there is much, much more where that came from).

RFK, Jr.

"Emily stood by him, believing he could change, Oppenheimer writes, but after 12 years of marriage and two children, the couple ultimately divorced.

But not before Bobby proposed to his second wife, Mary, according to Oppenheimer.

Bobby reportedly popped the question to Mary, a longtime friend of his sister Kerry, in the summer of 1993, claiming he had already divorced Emily. Three weeks after he finally did divorce his first wife, he married a six-months-pregnant Mary in April 1994.

So began another tumultuous marriage for Bobby – but this one would end in tragedy when Mary committed suicide in May 2012.

(section removed because obscene)

Bobby kept track of some of the alleged affairs in a secret diary that was leaked to the New York Post in 2013, reportedly writing that his greatest flaw was his “lust demons.”

In the spring of 2010, Bobby began divorce proceedings with Mary and went public with his relationship with actress Cheryl Hines.

In the months before she took her own life, Mary allegedly told a longtime friend that she “feared for her life” and claimed that Bobby “repeatedly told her that she would be ‘better off dead,’ and that it would be ‘so much easier’ if she killed herself,” Oppenheimer writes.

On Wednesday, May 16, 2012, Mary’s AA sponsor found her hanging in a barn on her Bedford, New York, estate. She was 52."

Sounds like RFK, Jr. is quite the piece of work. Throw in all his leftist, elitist, extreme environmentalism, ant-vaxxer crusade and I wonder why anyone should pay any attention to him.

I wonder how many abortions he paid for all the mistresses he knocked up. But god forbid the side effects from a vaccine (as all medications have side effects) should exist. God forbid there is a slight chance someone dies as a reaction to MMR vaccines, so let the hundreds of thousands that would have died from measles not get the MMR. I am sure RFK Jr's 6 kids can go to elite private tutors and have servants at their beck and call for everything and live the lap of luxury and cleanliness.

Rex, regarding your link to the 46 deaths connected to Bill and Hill - there should be 168 more people on that list if the OK City bombing were included. I took a serious look at it maybe 12 years ago when there was so much more accessible info on the web then there is today (Google censorship even noticed in Duck Duck Go). I find it incredible that very few people I've met have done any research on it.

Brig Gen Ben Partin was one of the most qualified people in the world regarding explosives/munitions and he said from the first time he heard the official story he knew they were concealing the truth just based on what he saw. He was railroaded like everyone else that had seen evidence that did not support the official narrative. In fact, if I remember correctly, there were over a half-dozen of those people that were witnesses that mysteriously "suicided" afterwards. So round the number up to 175 extra while you're at it.

The more I look into this issue of viruses and subsequent vaccines I am strongly favoring the view that says the germ theory has never been proven, that it was high-jacked by those oil tycoons and was fraudulently purported as true science to get people to take a pill for an ill. Guess what too many of the Rx meds have in them? Petroleum byproducts of course.

Follow the history and you'll see the same theme: FDA (federal death admin) destroys (slanders, jails, prosecutes, murders, financially ruins, etc.) any doctor or individual that is making too much headway in treating people in a way that threatens and exposes the allopathic medical industry.

"Trump is following in the footsteps of tyrannical dictators who carried out mass genocide against their own people
That means Trump is setting himself up along the lines of Stalin, Mao and Pol Pot to go down in history as a genocidal maniac who mass murdered his own people in order to appease his corporate puppet masters.

Look at the facts. The DoD announcement. The ApiJect RFID technology. The “rapid mobilization” of the US military to “distribute” the vaccines. Look at who’s running the White House coronavirus response: Dr. Fauci, the criminal at the NIH who funneled money to the Wuhan virology lab that engineered the very same bioweapon that’s now ravaging our economy and resulting in forced lockdowns.

Look at how no action has been taken against Obama, James Comey or the Clintons. Ever wonder why? Because they’re all working for the same globalist agenda."

I looked up Depro Provera and it says that it is for birth control and does not make you sterile. It temporarily (while you are taking it) prevents pregnancy. Where is the idea that it makes you sterile coming from?

I recently read Melinda Gates' book "The Moment of Lift" and liked it. I understood from what she wrote that her purpose is in helping women control how many children they have and when they will have them. The idea that she supports the lowering of the world population through sterilization seems a bit far fetched to me. I also have a hard time believing that she would support sterilizing women without their knowledge or consent. That others would do that, yes. But not Melinda Gates.

Ken,

If what Gen Ben Partin said is true, how does that connect to the Clintons? Maybe Trump did it. :)

After reading and hearing Partin’s explanation how the Oklahoma Federal Building was destroyed, in my opinion, I’ve never heard anything as hair-brain in my life.

Oh, the building could have been destroyed that way, but that wouldn’t explain how an 8-foot-deep hole was made where Timothy McVeigh’s truck was parked, or how it was torn to bits. There were other vehicles parked but nothing like that happened to them.

I wish you’d investigate how General Patton died.

CM Said: "Figures Anonymous is so chicken-s*it to have a real nick. A drive-by troll"

Well, we have a bunch of free range chickens so I often do step in their business from time to time. :)

You'd have to include these two docs in the that group since they are exposing this covid-1984 as a complete hoax due to the way the "virus" was supposedly isolated:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V66H3BdJMoI

Rex - Partin is not denying the truck had a bomb in it. He's simply pointing out the damage to the building could not have been from one big bomb on the street. Had to have been from smaller charges installed at key places in the building. This was verified by multiple key eye witnesses.

I played around with enough black powder, fuses, and rifle primers when I was many moons younger to know the basics of what Partin is saying is true. Many groundhogs died in those days. :)

Most people underestimate the power of media to shape public thought. Bill was President at that time. Justice was not met by framing Tim as the sole perp.

Ken,

Partin’s theory would sound reasonable if there were two explosions, but there was just one.

We know McVeigh hated the Government because of Ruby Ridge and the Waco massacre.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ruby_Ridge
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waco_siege

Ok, I see you connecting Bill Clinton because he was President, but he didn’t hate the Government; he was the Government.

When McVeigh received the death sentence, don’t you think he’d try saving his life by telling he was only carrying out orders from the President of the United States?

Ken, I hope you’re not like Wade in never admitting he’s wrong. :)

Anonymous said...

"Partin’s theory would sound reasonable if there were two explosions, but there was just one."

Rex - obviously that's what the GOV wants you to believe. Remember, it's easy to simultaneously detonate charges so that multiple charges sound like one.

Sorry, but even though I spent several days reading everything I could about it (when documents that didn't support the official narrative where much easier to find on the net) I don't remember a ton of specifics on it, even though I do remember the evidence of a cover up, or false flag op, was overwhelmingly obvious. Partin's observations are just a piece of the puzzle.

Obviously, I can be wrong about a lot of things, but the pattern of engineer and event/create a crisis in order to cause fear among the people so you can offer them a solution that makes them more dependent and slavish to their master is a pattern that our GOV has been guilty of for many years. Covid-1984 is another false flag, imo, and far too many people are falling for it.

Ken

Rex Ray said...

Ken,

Yes, it’s possible for two explosions to sound like one, but that would mean someone else was in partners with McVeigh unless, you think McVeigh put explosives through the building also.

But if he did that, he wouldn’t have needed the truck would he?

Also, how could someone put bombs all through the building without being detected?

Anonymous said...

Rex, at the 1 hr and 24 min mark Partin says it would be simple to set a 60 pound bucket of C4 expolsive next to each column. No drilling needed. In fact, there are key witnesses testifying to undetonated charges being carried out by ATF after the explosion. Very light security at the building after 11 pm. FBI, ATF and up the chain of command to Clinton complicit in this crime. Lots of unnecessary legislation passed which resulted in the people becoming slaves to GOV.

McVeigh was a simple patsy like Lee Harvey Oswald.

I'm not a numbers guy, but it is interesting why these engineered events often contain the numbers 1 and 9. Ok City bombing was on 4/19. 9/11. Covid-19. Columbine 4/20/1999 at 11:19. Many more...

You are not a libertarian.

You believe it’s your right to spread disease, potentially harming others.
You think Mr. “grab them by the pussy” is doing a great job and professed to vote for him again.
You defend immigration control measures, which harm others.

I could go on, but you are no libertarian. You’re the worst type: one who subscribed to it only when the “liberty” bit fits your own desires, and not a matter of principle for everyone.
You FAVOR aggression toward others, in more ways than one, which is against Libertarianism’s principles.

The Rebecca Project? Please.

At least be more transparent.

It was written by someone who made no legal grounds in court, so she sold the stories to the Ghana tabloids.
The project, notably, didn’t test anything of its own. It was founded on no evidence whatsoever: again, coming out of a tabloid.
The source? Was the mother of the Rebecca Project author’s child.

This is akin to you posting “Kendall Jenner has secret baby with Donald Trump”. It’s pure nonsense.

For someone that says they value books, you’ve just participated in spreading the largest boomer coronavirus misinformation campaign.

Ken,

Sorry, I got mixed up in trying to reply to you on the wrong post. Just review this post and saw your last comment. I disagree with you about McVeigh being a “patsy”.
Ken, big, big, difference between Oswald and McVeigh. Oswald didn’t have any hatred toward JFK, whereas McVeigh hated the Federal Government for what they did at Ruby Ridge and Waco. I’m sure you know the horror of innocent lives killed there.

No one told authorities that McVeigh was guilty. He was caught by him making a mistake. He parked his vehicle too close and its license plate was knocked off.

He was stopped by police because the license plate was missing. The policeman arrested him because he saw ‘materials’ for making explosives. Those materials were used at his trial to help convict him.

Rex Ray said...

Ken,

You said McVey was a patsy like Oswald. Did McVey’s explosion kill at least one person?

Oswald never hurt anyonen.
