I'm watching live when I can and am enjoying the video reports. Plus, it gives us a chance to see a little more of the inside working of the Convention. Between the reports and the live feed,twitter etc. it's closer to being there.
No one has seemed to point out the obvious here. In article IV of the BF&M 2000 entitled "Salvation," subsection "A" reads as follows:
A. Regeneration, or the new birth, is a work of God's grace whereby believers become new creatures in Christ Jesus. It is a change of heart wrought by the Holy Spirit through conviction of sin, to which the sinner responds in repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Repentance and faith are inseparable experiences of grace.
If that is not a "Calvinistic" statement I don't know what is. If the signers of this statement of so-called traditional salvation were honest they could not affirm the BF&M 2000.
What a sad statement of affairs. Meanwhile, lost people remain lost.

I may not be able to publish it here, but he told me the Founders Journal would publish a revised version of his paper in next month's magazine.
