30 Reasons Enid, OK Is the Best City in America

My wife and returned from Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, last Saturday after celebrating our 37th wedding anniversary with our four grown children, their spouses, and our grandchildren.

30 hours of driving.

15 hours east. 15 hours west.

Through the Florida panhandle, through Alabama, through Mississippi, through Louisiana (and by my favorite lake in the United States, Lake Providence, Louisiana), through Arkansas, and through Oklahoma to our hometown, Enid, Oklahoma.

When we pulled into our driveway, I couldn't help but think of the blessings of living in Enid, Oklahoma, for the last 30 years. In honor of those 30 hours of traveling and 30 years of living, I give you 30 reasons why Enid, Oklahoma, is the best place to live in the United States of America.

1. The people.
