"I went to Jerusalem to become acquainted (Gk. istoria) with Cephas" - Paul's words from Galatians 1:18.

I was hoping that you would get permission to film Tom's whole talk and post it. Do you know if anyone is going to do that?

Say "hi" to my Union colleagues for me.

I'm watching live when I can and am enjoying the video reports. Plus, it gives us a chance to see a little more of the inside working of the Convention. Between the reports and the live feed, twitter etc. it's closer to being there.

By the way, I am here taking my granddaughters to Vacation Bible school. :) Much more important. :)

I'm worried about what Frank Page's "Calvinism Task Force" is going to do.

No one has seemed to point out the obvious here. In article IV of the BF&M 2000 entitled "Salvation," subsection "A" reads as follows:

A. Regeneration, or the new birth, is a work of God's grace whereby believers become new creatures in Christ Jesus. It is a change of heart wrought by the Holy Spirit through conviction of sin, to which the sinner responds in repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Repentance and faith are inseparable experiences of grace.

If that is not a "Calvinistic" statement I don't know what is. If the signers of this statement of so-called traditional salvation were honest they could not affirm the BF&M 2000.

What a sad statement of affairs. Meanwhile, lost people remain lost.

Anyone else ever feel that evangelism is not really the issue?

B Nettles,

I've asked for a copy of Tom's presentation and he assured me he would send it to me.

I may not be able to publish it here, but he told me the Founders Journal would publish a revised version of his paper in next month's magazine.

Thanks for the response, Wade.
I expected to be able to read it eventually, but seeing and hearing my brother is a lot better than reading.

I understand!

Your brother has a phenomenal heart and even a bigger heart.

Nettles did do a good job at the breakfast. Very interesting.

I always enjoy going to the Founders Breakfast. I saw you afterwards but didn't get to speak.

Thanks for these videos.
